OPENING UP THE GALLEY
When this family’s home’s layout was not conducive to their lifestyle – with a blocked in kitchen and entryway. They wanted to create spaces that allowed everyone to be together, and also updated the style to reflect their wants. Structurally we opened up the kitchen by removing the wall that made it a galley style. We expanded the island, installed new lighting, put in new appliances, and updated the flooring. The shiplap feature wall in the living room tied seamlessly together with the shiplap island in the kitchen, creating a cohesive flow throughout the first floor. We also made cosmetic upgrades to the master bedroom and bathroom, finishing off the entire first floor remodel.
